Raptor Pro - Scanner not found in CrealityScan for MacOS

I recently got the raptor pro. I have a 2022 Macbook Air M2 with 16gb ram.

CrealityScan requires me to sign in with my admin credentials every time I open the app, but still isn’t able to see the scanner.

If I check the system usb device list, the raptor pro is listed. The raptor-pro also illuminates the green LED behind the play button.

If I put the raptor pro on my PC (Ryzen 7, RTX 4060), it works without issue. I was able to calibrate it and get about 22fps scanning with the crossed laser mode.

I really need the raptor-pro to work with my macbook though as it is my most portable computer and is the ideal candidate for all the vehicle scans I need to make.

Creality support has left me hanging with no answers, so I’m wondering if maybe it’s something really simple I’m missing that is somehow lost in translation.

CrealityScan is a security garbage and Creality doesn’t seem to care about security.

Anyway you could run /Applications/CrealityScan.app/Contents/MacOS/CrealityScan from a terminal to see what errors will be reported by app.
