Hello!
After I just received my Raptor PRO I was blown away, coming from a Revo POP3… The fun lasted just for a few hours, now the scanner is almost unusable due to a sudden drop of the framerate to 1 to two FPS, sometimes it displays 17 in laser mode, but the look and feel is 1 to 2 fps. So the fun is definitly gone for now. So I hope for some ideas to solve the issue.
My system is a Thinkpad with i7 9850H, 64GB Ram and Quadro RTX 5000 16GB
The performance test says up to 50fps in laser, up to 30 in IR mode. And I had around 47fps in the first scans, running the Laptop on mains in the highest power mode. The integrated processor GPU is deactivated in the BIOS, so it defenitly runs on the Quadro.
First try in IR mode was on battery on max power, 1 to 2 fps, unusable… thought it was a problem with the IR mode, updated Creality scan from the prior version to 3.3.40. No change. DevMgr shows no problems.
Made then another nice laser scan with around 47fps last night, another laserscan today without problems. Just sat down wanted to make another laserscan: fps down to 1-2, sometimes it displays fluctuating higher fps, but it does not feel like that while scanning. IR also 1-2 fps…
Creality scan just running without the scanner plugged in takes 15% of cpu usage over 8 cores, scanner plugged in it goes up to 18%, GPU idles around 0 to 1%.
Just tried it again, showed 44fps for the marker tracking, the moment the lasers went on down to 10, jumping around a bit but at least usable. But still not ok… tried IR, 4 to 5 fps…
So if anyone has an idea, please share it! Also if there are preferrable settings for the QUADRO, I’m using the basic settings for now.
Thank you!
