I believe that the Timelapse facility on this printer simply takes a single frame every layer. Does anyone know if it is possible to make a continuous realtime video using the Creality camera. I realise that with a real print I will wind up with a big mp4 file but I can always edit it externally. I simply want to show a friend how fast the printer operates.
What you might try is setting up a go pro or phone camera to make a video. I don’t think there is a way because of memory limits that the machine will make a real time video. (I could be wrong there)
Also try a screen recorder to record the camera view on the details page in Creality Print.???
Thank you jimandyen. I’ll give both of your suggestions a try when I have a minute.
Hi jimandyen. Your latter suggestion works a treat. I used the screen recording facility that is part of the MacBook (OSX Sonoma) via Shift- Command-5 and just recorded the portion of the Creality Print screen that shows the camera image. A print that took about 5 minutes results in a .mov (Quicktime) file of just over 1GB. Of course, using this facility you can record any part of the print process in (near) real time. I don’t know if Windows has a similar facility but since I am a Mac user, I don’t care ! Thanks again for your steer, most helpful.
