Recommendation of 3D Printer

I’ve been looking at purchasing a 3D printer and I almost picked up a Bambu Lab X1C 3D Printer during the holidays but given Bambu’s recent moves to force firmware updates that enable Bambu Authorization which enables a “security feature” that requires Bambu Authorization to printer over your own LAN I’ve decided to look else where and a YouTuber I followed and trust recommended Creality.

Can I get some suggestions on what type of 3D printer I should consider from Creality comparable to the Bambu Lab X1C 3D Printer.

I’m an absolute NOOB to 3D printing.

Any suggestions would be grealy appreciated.

Check out Qidi, the Q1Pro is as good as the Bambu and cheaper.

For the price you pay for a Bambu X1C, you can get a better option with the Creality K2 Pro Combo, and it’s cheaper. I bought one 4 months ago and it has been printing flawlessly almost 24/7. The locked firmware on the Bambu printer is the smallest of their problems, check Facebook, every day people reporting Bambu printers having problems with blobs.
