Hi,
Just got my Falcon 2 Pro 40W and have it up and running. I left the clear backing on the plastic panels while assembling and it seems very hard to remove. Is the backing needed to meet the laser light filtering spec or is it ok to remove? I am I better off to partly disassemble or has anyone had luck removing after the fact?

Like a clear protection foil? No it’s not needed. And yet it’s annoying to remove from acrylic sheets.
I removed it and needed to loosen some screws. They put a sticker on top of it so you loose that sticker. If left on it will degrade over time and be imposable to remove leaving an ugly flakey surface. Anyone that works with acrylic or similar plastics will tell you that after a several years the acrylic becomes garbage if the plastic/paper is left on especially if exposed to heat and light.
