Replacement Parts for D3 Pro

We have tried to get one of the technical representatives to look into parts - like the silicon boot, thermal sensors, and etc. Tech is vague and does not provide any information. Has Creality discontinued the Sermoon D3 PRO? If so, it was quite unethical to sell that machine to us then drop the line… Where do we get parts?
Thanks,
B. Clemens

BTW: after asking about replacement nozzles, we found (buy purchasing for comparison) that the K1 printer nozzles are the same.

I’m in the same boat… Creality support referred me to Amazon, knowing there are no parts available for this machine there. This was a very expensive machine, and we deserve support, and an answer from Creality.

Hello @ …!

Welcome to the Creality Forum…! Creality

What parts are you needing…? I think some members here will help you search if they know what you are looking for and what parts fit what machines…

Like @BClemD3 said he found that K1 printer nozzles are the same…

Oh that is good to know! I have had a hard time finding build plates that match it’s size, as well as rubber boots for the hotend. Other than nozzles, any guidance on hotend parts would be helpful too.

I believe the gear(s) used in the extruder are also the same. I just wish I could get a build plate…

BClemD3, are the K1 hotends drop-in equivalent? it doesn’t look like the leads are long enough. but it should fit in the heat sink, than be mountable, right?

No, I did not mention ‘Hot Ends’ except to say that the K1 nozzles are the same. Same thread length and fit the Sermoon D3 Pro. If you have one of these machines you are heading toward a brick. The Chinese hate the USA and screw customers every chance they get. STOP BUYING CHINESE GARBAGE! I have… If it says “Made in China”, I already know a purchase will be a complete loss!

I just got confirmation that they will not be building the Sermoon D3 going forward. My printer will be supported for the 1 year warranty though.

I was told I can request a quote for the part I want but would be about $30 USD to ship.

What is everyone using to slice and print to the D3? I reset my PC so the outdated program I had been using is gone and the new one does not list the D3.

You’re absolutely right, Creality is actively screwing my small business as we speak. I have filed complaints with the BBB and FTC. They are REFUSING to support this product under warranty. They “OUT OF” every part for the machine. A total joke. It’s alright, I worked in Apple’s social media dept for nearly a decade, and will use every bit of my skills to make sure as many people know about this as possible.

We have purchased any and all parts for other Creality printers in hopes of finding basic replacement parts for the Sermoon D3 Pro. The K1 hot end is very similar and the hot winding is the same - only difference is the power leads are much too short. An extension cable must be fabricated using silicon coated wire and JST-2 connectors - male and female. That will involve purchasing a suitable crimper for the connectors in the JST-2 and JST-2.54. The JST-2 is a 2mm connector readily available… The Thermistor uses the JST-2.54 connector.
The circuit boards in the printer are my main concern because if anything would happen to one of them they are almost impossible to repair because Chinese companies are famous for manufacturing electronics with IC chips that they will not sell - so the circuit board is trash and must be replaced through them. In this case with Creality, that ends the life of the machine.
BTW: be careful on the K1 hot end removing the mounting nut on the barrel where the nozzle screws into and the hot winding is located - the threads on the barrel are left handed. That is a trick manufacturers do to help you do damage to an otherwise simple assembly. No need for left hand threads there!
