Replacing a defective ceramic heating block

When setting up the printer per the instruction manual for the ender3 v3-ke, I encountered numerous error messages that customer support said was likely the heating block unit. They sent me a replacement but no instructions as to how to safely remove the defective unit. There are no tutorials, and so I tried AI but everything we attempted didn’t work. It looks like I have to untighten the bolt above the nozzle but AI said not to do this. Can anyone help me with this problem with specific instructions as to how to proceed safely so I can get this unit up and running? I’ve enclosed a photo where I have disconnected the wires from the original heating block.
