I have a hollow pickup for a halogen lamp which i want to scan and print.
The part is hollow and has not very much texture on it. I fixed that issue with 3d print spray but i wonder if i can simply “turn” the object during scanning ( it will not lay flat on the round side and maybe swing during scanning ) or if i need to merge two scans for each half of the pickup.
Any experience ? I am using “small” mode with “texture” after having sprayed the object. It is still complicated due to tracking errors during scan
Trying to use “medium” size or tracker without that spray did not produce usable output so far
