Resume button doesn't work, I can't continue my print after manually pausing it

A few weeks ago I installed a 4.2.7 motherboard in my Ender 5 Plus.
I know it isn’t specifically designed for it, but I found a video tutorial on Youtube explaining how to do it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pZmeRf-XNs&t=2s).
My Marlin Version is 2.1.2.1 and I’m using the stock display with a custom firmware which I got here ( Flashing the firmware · Desuuuu/DGUS-reloaded Wiki · GitHub)
In the beginning I had a few problems adjusting the reference voltages, but by now I get great results.
Anyway I noticed a problem:
If I pause the print manually and want to continue it, my printer only sends the notification “busy”. The same happens if the filament is empty and the printer pauses to change filament.
I can’t continue the print.
Even if I cancel the print and try to move anything over the UI, I get the notification busy and nothing works.
Only restarting the printer makes it usable again.
Over Octoprint I get the message “echo:busy: paused for user” over the whole time, even after canceling the print.
If someone wants to have my config.h and config_adv.h files, I don’t know how to upload it, but I basically used the same as the creator of the video tutorial uploaded under this link (Creality Ender 5 Plus - V4.2.7 Mainboard with Marlin 2.1.2.1 Firmware by axlpr - Thingiverse)
I hope someone can help me, I don’t really know what to do anymore.
But I noticed that I can pause and continue the print, if I print over Octoprint. So the commands @pause and @resume seem to work.
