I am looking to connect my printer to the computer. I bought second hand and no connection wires came with it. I have tried a few and seems they are the wrong type. Is there a special cable for it?
Ender 3V3 prints directly from the SD card. I am not sure if it supports network connection.
Check the specs of your machine.
Connecting it to computer doesn’t directly mean it is via network! There is a usb-connector on the side of the printer, you have to connect computer to that port.
I don’t advice printing via computer… prints will fail is something happens with computer like sleep-mode etc.
If you want to connect your Ender 3 to computer use a Raspberry Pie with Octoprint running on it. You can send your files to print to Octoprint via netwerk/wifi…
