I’m not sure how I ended up here from the Creality Scan software but I am having problems getting clean 3D scans suitable for .stl files using the Otter Lite and a rotating table and various tripods for stability. My hobby is modifying commercially available physical and 3D file models of 1/56 (28mm) armored fighting vehicles and 1/1200 (1/1000 and 1/1800 .stl files printed to 1/1200 also) warship models to historical and ahistorical variants or classes, such as the four-turret “slow” battleship variant of the “Iowa” class, which are not available from commercial vendors. I build the models and I then want to convert them to .stl files for my K2 to print out. The 1/56 (28mm) models are not as difficult, though there are problems getting highly detailed models scanned, but I just can’t produce detailed scans of the waterline warships. I have reviewed the Wikki and gone to Youtube but I just can’t find anything that really addresses my problem, so I am looking for help from the community. Thanks.
