Scanning a small object with an otter. Issues.....

Otter scanner with a turn table, object is 15mm by 20mm.

Its a black threaded adapter. Ive tried using dry shampoo and changing lighting.

Object is normal, size=small, feature= both Geometry & texture, Accuracy= both fast & hi-quality. Disabled flat base= yes.

But its still showing as a scrambled mess.

Any ideas of how I can accurately scan this object?

This should work, can you make a screenshot during scanning and attach that? Have you tried to adjust the brightness manually?
Maybe also a picture of the part you try to scan.
I would recommend markers in this case because the part is small, not geometry/texture.
