I need a $0.28 wire for my K2 Plus toolhead. Creality is refusing to ship it for less than $30.00 U.S.
I just paid $1600 for this printer and they won’t ship me a 28 cent part for less than $30? That’s just unreal.
It’s things like this that make me not recommend Creality. You can have the best product in the world, but if you can’t have good customer service then it doesn’t matter.
Off to repost this on every channel I have access to.
They include an extra board in the spare parts kit with the printer, but when I tried to replace the board, one wire came out of the connector when I tried to pull it out of the board.
It’s $2.75 shipping for the whole board on Aliexpress.
Hi,
Unfortunately, Radioshack went out of business many (10?) years ago.
Even so, the pitch of that connector appears to be 1.25mm GH 3 pin, which is a very very small pitch. I’m lucky that I am able to measure and identify it.
I’m an electrical engineer so I can fix it. I have a soldering microscope setup and can destroy a board to solder the wires directly if I have to.
However, the average person could not do these things and charging $30 to ship a wire that is 5cm long is simply wrong.
I wasn’t aware they were closed, I just remembered the name for what they had.
I understand what you are saying regards hard wiring it as I am able to do such work also.
I therefore am with you entirely regards their postage charges for a sub dollar item.
I am also agreeing that being a valued customer having spent good money on their printer, that postage should be gratis.
When you look over this forum, it is a wonder that they don’t bend over backwards to do things better, because there are a LOT of pissed off buyers coming on here and the word is getting out.
