Significant bug

I had an issue with a print and the filament stuck to the nozzle in a huge ball and dried hard. I couldn’t remove it so I preheated the nozzle to pull it off.

For no reason, despite the command being to heat, the firmware chose to home the position first. This caused the nozzle to lower to a few mm from the bed… with a few cm of rock hard filament between nozzle and bed. This pushed the nozzle down into the bed, bending it (but somehow not breaking the glass bed) as it pushed downward with the motor’s full force.

The issues:

I was just heating. Don’t move the nozzle and sure AF do not home. Why would it be programmed to do that???

Do not use any downward force. The only resistance should be gravity. If it has to push then there is obviously a problem and the nozzle should retract.

Please fix these glaring bugs.
