Solution after CFS install on K1 Max

My K1 Max is still relatively new and I decided to get a CFS even though originally I didn’t want to. I figured out pretty soon that there were some things I wish I could do that. I couldn’t without it. After installing the CFS everything worked fine. Printing the banshee that’s four color, but then things kind of fell apart and the extrusion was horrible. I have done everything I can figure out. Keep in mind I have two under three printers the print flawlessly but I haven’t printed for 6 years because I have had some health issues I’ve had to deal with.

After messing around and watching things feed, I figured out that one of my spools slows down in the CFS when it’s trying to extrude and regular interface and so I put that spool away. Got a different one and will still having extrusion problems. There were points where nothing would come out of the nozzle at all.

What I finally did just on a hunch was replace the final 20 in of PTFE tubing from the back of my K1 Max to the printhead. The PTFE tubing I chose is left over from an upgrade I did to both of my ander and printers. Is the bluish colored slightly narrower PTFE that seems to be smoother and feed better.

Miracle of miracles; problem solved! I’m not sure how that solved the problem, but I’m very happy it did.

Through the miracle of autocorrect on my phone, Benchy was changed to whatever mess is in the above post. I wish I could just edit it and fix things because there are other issues, too. As a person who has edited Amazon books for PhDs (physics), I’m very picky about English usage. In fact, I’ll edit for anyone interested in English assistance.
