It affects On the printer screen by putting an extra symbol “X” on that screen which you can enter when you want delete a certain object and then select that object to exclude it from further printing.
I’m new to Creality Print 5.1.4 and I’ve seen this option. However, being new, I’m not sure how it’s supposed to work.
I have 2, Ender 3 V3 Plus printers (which I love).
Today, I’m printing something out and monitoring things via the printer’s IP.
I noticed, down the page, the “Exclude Objects” area. Inside that is a cube!
I did not put that here and have no idea how it got there.
I also don’t see a way to delete it.
If I right click on it, while the wording isn’t great, I think it’s asking if I want to exclude this cube. I just X out.
Should that cube be there?
Once the print is done, should that disappear?
If I didn’t put that there, is it the AI system that did that? (Nebula camera?)
Is there a way to delete it or does it matter at all and just leave it as is?
And input/ideas would be appreciated.
Next, I have to find some info on the Bed Mesh thing. Different subject.
But on one machine, it looks good… almost flat, close to the “bed” image.
On the other machine, the one with the cube in Exclude, the bed mesh doesn’t look right. Towards the zero, it’s pretty flat, but to the right/front, it bends way up.
As it turns out, now, the 1st layer does have “waves” in that area.
I tried input shaping and bed leveling, but that didn’t seem to help.
I did notice, however, that on the end of the nozzle, there was a very tiny piece of plastic. The system doesn’t seem to do a nozzle cleaning before input shaping and bed leveling.
I need to find out what’s wrong or if that tiny piece of plastic may be the problem since it throws off the Z-offset… ???
that cube downright in the creality slicer program shows what happens if you click the mouse on one of the choices in the upper menu above the cube (all choices on the right to the top ).
with the exclude object option checked you get a little box with an x in it if you hit that you can chose which of the printed objects you want to exclude. ( in the creality slicer screen down left)
