Hi,
The dryer is in my workshop and the ambient temperature is close to the outside temperature. When the room temperature is under 15°C, the dryer prints “EA” instead of the box temperature and the fan is off. It may easily take 1 hour to reach 15 °C.
When the box temperature is at least 15°C, it heats very quickly and everything works fine.
Preventing the heating because it is too cold seems a bit counterintuitive. Is there a way to make the dryer heat whatever the outside temperature is?

Same issue here - came looking to see if it’s just my dryer, but seems it isn’t. Brought the dryer into the house to get it warmed up, will then take it out and plug in while still warm. But it’s a pain if you have to do this whenever its less than 15C (about 6 months of the year in the UK).
Me too, this is a big pain. I keep it in the basement and in winter months the temp can drop pretty low. The display becomes very sluggish, which is a minor annoyance, but the big issue is the EA message and lack of proper function. Shouldn’t this be a simple software fix?
