Speed Tower calibration tool forced printing at 211-229 for ABS

EDIT to add my dumb: Turns out in the filament profile I’d accidentally selected the box for “Auto Temperature”. I have no idea why auto temp would select temps that low, but unchecking that box had it printing at the filaments designated temperature.

Last night I attempted to print a speed calibration tower on my K2 Plus using CrealityPrint 6 with Polylite ABS. I have the temperature set for this filament to be between 245-265 and 265 as the default temp. It was only as the print was finishing that I noticed the tower started at 211 and the maximum temp used was 229. The brim however was printed at 265. Fortunately enough there were no extruder jams and surprisingly the visual quality of the tower is actually really good all the way up. Unsure about layer adhesion though. I can confirm that the speeds did automatically change when ABS was selected, 40mm/s-310mm/s vs PLA which the test prints at 40mm/s-400mm/s

Is there a reason the slicer forces the tower to print at low temps for the material or is this a bug where they forgot to make the temperature variable based on filament type?

Please excuse the poor quality photo of the dog. She’s in focus but she’s part bigfoot, so she’s naturally blurry.
