Spray head motherboard comms error

Ive had trouble with a corrupt file I think and its caused the extruder to block on the Ender 5 Max. So I’ve had to pull it down three times to try different versions of the same part but the printer kept malfunctioning at the same point in the build.

Now its saying “Spray head motherboard communication error” and it gives me a QR code that just takes me to the user manual which doesn’t have much info about this issue.

I’m worried that I’ve damaged a plug or cable while clearing the extruder. All the connections look OK.

How can I possibly diagnose which plug/cable is the problem. I’m assuming the spray head is the extruder/nozzle assembly??

ANyone else find an easy fix to this issue?

It either a faulty cable or toolhead board, if those new part did not resolve the issue its could be usb port/power on mainboard, which mean you need replace the mainboard usually.

I have had the same issue. I checked all my cables and plugs and everything is working. I plugged it and plugged back it and worked for 1 print then started doing the same thing right after unsure of the solution so would love to hear if anyone has found something
