stainless steel tips

Got this printer for daughter @Christmas to create her own cookie cutters. This printed great for the first two runs with the brass tip it came with. However to keep the cutters food safe we bought the PVA food safe filament. It heats between 190-200 degrees. We bought the stainless steel tips that are more food safe. When we put the stainless tip in (which is shorter than the brass) the machine does not heat up beyond 190 to get the filament hot enough to go through the tip and it clogs. Any help would be lovely.

Which bit of the stainless steel tip is shorter? Hopefully not the threaded portion. Any chance you could post a picture of the 2 tips?
