Hi All.
Im struggling with a large format ASA print on my Ender 5 Max
I have an enclosure, my heated bed is set at 90 and nozzle temp is 260.
I am using the standard bed, with iSanmate ASA filament and Geeetech 3D printing adhesive.
However, I’m struggling with the issue as shown in the photos attached.
Any assistance appreciated, thanks
Mark
Hi
Not had any experience with ASA, however it seems that the filament temp is too low giving that grainy effect..
Try 270 and 100 for the bed, the enclosure should be around 35 and turn off the part cooling.
It really is trial and error for your machine, so many variables.
Hello
As Kevin_Eames said, I would try with a bed of 100 to 110.
That is what I use for my Qidi’s and it works well ( my creaity can’t print ASA ).
Your filament may also be needing drying.
Cheers.
