In the Creality Scan software, it would be very nice if there was an XY plane slicer.
After the scan. The user could select to cut the scan at a place. So you can have the scan cut off relative to the build plate.
The plane shows on the screen as an orthogonal grid. The user moves and turns the scan image so it intersects with the grid, where the user wishes the piece to be started on the printer build plate.
Whatever is below the grid is deleted. The edges at the XY grid are closed.
This can also delete unwanted stuff from having to be processed. Also making it easier to enter into the slicer software. A big hole is closed nice and flat.
