I bought a 4 pack of Sunlu PLA+ on amazon, they are the 1 KG spools. They are the 194-195mm spools that will not retract correctly in the CFS machine. I have printed 3 different types of the adapter rings but the issue is once I install the adapter ring the spool does not site down in the rails on the CFS, like it is to wide or something. What am i missing??

It sounds like the adapter is making the spool wider so it doesn’t fit in the tracks correctly. Just have to try to find one that works. I tried printing a few but haven’t found one that I could depend on. They always came out too flimsy or were too wide like yours.
That’s one of the reasons I started using a filament winder and saving the empty spools that worked good in the color system.
I printed out a few winders before I found this one that works pretty good after some adjustments. The creator shows good videos on assembly that really help.
