So need some help here. I am pretty sure it is user error but need your help.
When I got my first K2 Plus I jumped into both Creality Cloud slicer and CrealityPrint on the desktop. They both seemed to be pretty close in speed. But after returning my printer for a warranty exchange (the first one ground a belt tensioner into little metal shavings) I am having the following issue.
In CrealityCloud I slice this file and get the following
But when I slice it on my desktop using CrealityPrint I get this
I am sure this is a settings or similar issue, I just need help knowing where to look. And why would CrealityCloud slicer be any different than the default profile on CrealityPrint desktop?
A bit over three hours seems about right for this simple print… but 18Hours??
Maybe you can provide the 3mf file you printed at that time? Perhaps I can help you analyze and verify the reasons
I can’t seem to reproduce this now. The first several things I tried to print gave a similar result, CrealityPrint being much longer. But now it seems about the same. :-
ok,thx,u may continue to monitor this issue. Should the problem be reproducible, kindly reach out to me directly. Thank you for your sharing.
I find it relatively easy, especially if using existing models from Creality Cloud, for the printer to load settings for other printers, or just overwrite a lot of settings.
I remember one day looking under the current printer and see that it thought that an Ender was selected.
Also, make sure that your filament settings are right and that you don’t have slow filament loaded.
Biggest issue here is that when you load CP6 it does not always load the filaments or system presets as when the file was saved. Given that the names can be very similar it is easy to think you have the right one selected.
I am lucky in that all my saved 3mf files have the settings in a spreadsheet as I have succumbed to this many times. I now check each loading by clicking on drop downs then checking individual settings.
Part of this issue is caused by CP6 failing to load ALL preset/user configurations / system preset at load OR when updating the program. I see this as a major weakness. @shenglong_jiang
When a file is saved and reloaded it should have all parameters that were saved with the file.
BS is a good example but even that can have similar problem but ultimately far more reliable and consistent.
