Hi all just upgraded my Ender 3 s1 with the V3 plus must say very impressed
My question I printed my top rail mount out as hate the side mount for the spool only thing is it would fit perfectly but I have the Creality rear light fitted is there a better top mount that allows the use of the light with the top mount
Something along these lines? personally don’t like top mounting and would prefer something along the lines of this fed direct from a filament dryer. You would have to adjust for the different screw positions on a V3.

I do prefer filament. dryers As all the rest of my printers run from them so that may be a option thanks again for the link it was going to be my next question I really do think Creality have failed a great printer with this anti tangle that tangles lol
My V3SE and V3KE are both fed by the up and over system from a dryer, I’m sure that the V3 could do something like this with the 2 fixing holes at the rear of the gantry frame.

My only thing is that it is a long travel for the filament. Is it not a hassle to change ?
I think you also mentioned something regards the tube type ?

I don’t find it as much hassle to change as my coreXY printers and yes I use a larger 6.5mm PTFE tube on my V3KE but I use Capricorn tube on my V3SE seems to feed just as well. The bigger tube would be better for TPU but I notice no difference using Capricorn tube, that stuff is super slippy.
The V3SE is in the middle of this family portrait.

The first one is in the office, 5 minutes from home. The second photo is in the shed in the woods in a swamp.
