The end of the screw that holds hot end into sprite is stripped?

I have striped the nozzle to hot end threads. I am trying to replace the hotend and it turns out the tool end of the fastener that holds the hot end to the sprite is striped, the driver just turns and turns.

Is there a way to get around this or do I need to replace the sprite?

Is the grub screw head stripped of the thread? I’ve used a torx head to removed damaged hex head grub screws before. Just a thought that might help.

You could try stripping down the whole thing to see if you can seperate the heat block, you might get more leverage that way.

Depends if you have time/spare cash etc!

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried several different drivers to try to get a purchase on the screw, nothing really seems to work. When I look at it close up, I really can’t tell if there is a screw, but the hotend doesn’t twist freely.

I will attempt to disassemble the unit, nothing to lose, will just see how it all goes together and some replacement parts. Again, thanks for the suggestion.
