My 3d printer keeps saying “The nozzle temperature is below the minimum extrusion temperature” every time I print. I learnt that there was a piece of filament in my printer stuck and I couldn’t get it out by extruding filament. I had to disassemble the detector/nozzle thingy to see what happened before taking it out.
I was finally able to extrude the filament and tried to clean it thoroughly. I tried printing again, but it still said the same thing.
I checked my voltage, and it was perfectly fine. I kept extruding filament to try to get the excess out, and tried again, but it still wouldn’t start printing and said the same thing AGAIN. I tried printing something different… still did the same thing.
I don’t know what to do anymore.
Hello Juneau,
Is there a shop in your area that sells 3D gear such as filament ? if they do, they may sell cleaning filament.
I have used it before and found it helpful in some cases.
Otherwise there is a post by tjan that may be helpful.
Be sure that your nozzle is fastened tight enough when it is to loose you could get that typical message “the nozzle temperature is below extrusion temperature”
