Toolhead Power Cable Replacement

I had a wire break on the cable that plugs into the toolhead. Can someone point me towards the direction of a replacement or a support contact? I tried Google and the website and came up empty. Thank you in advance.

Did you ever find out where to get one?

I currently use an Ender 3 V3 and had a problem with the toolhead cable. The part itself costs $12, but shipping to Europe is over $70 – that’s more than $80–90 total, which is almost a third of the printer’s price.

That’s not acceptable. I was actually considering buying the K2 Plus, but what’s the point of getting a printer if spare parts are nearly impossible to get or only available with overpriced international shipping?

This is seriously off-putting – I’m technically capable and can repair a lot, but only if I can get the parts. Creality urgently needs to make spare parts available locally or at least offer affordable shipping options for small items.

Try asking for 3103110631? I think the plus will also work.

Thanks Barry – but this is exactly the problem.

The linked shop (DREMC) is located in Australia. While the cable itself only costs 19.45 AUD, the total with shipping is 43.80 AUD – that’s over €26.

And that’s just for a basic toolhead cable, which should be readily available worldwide for such a popular printer.

Why isn’t this part sold on AliExpress or directly from Creality China?

– It’s a typical wear part (toolhead cable failures are not uncommon)

– The printer is current and widely used

– And yet, there are only two known sources: Australia and Canada – both with excessive shipping costs

I honestly can’t understand this.

Even Creality would benefit from making this part easily available:

If users could simply buy the cable as a spare, they wouldn’t have to send back the entire printer just because of one broken wire.

In my case, I could repair the cable manually if I had to – but why go through that, when such a part should just be available?

Many customers are technically skilled and want to maintain or even upgrade their printers themselves – that would also reduce pressure on Creality’s support.

This is a deciding factor for me when considering future purchases. I was actually planning to buy the K2 Plus early next year,

but what’s the point of buying a printer if I have to search the entire globe for a simple spare part in case of failure?

I guess the fact the international shipping from “first world” country is not subsidised. I mean to order part from Creality after warranty is like 20-30 USD for me to from China to Australia if it something I cannot find locally or on aliexpress. Otherwise, I usually wait for that dealer to order it for me.

Our local vendor did tell me as those spare part come in alot packing and require manual re-packaging to and untangling those wiring loom so probably why not much places stock them.

If it under warranty maybe to see if you request free replacement one?

Thanks for your input – I get your point, and I’m aware that international shipping isn’t cheap and that spare parts might need manual unpacking or handling. But in the end, I’m just a customer who needs a simple replacement cable. Nothing more.

It’s frustrating that something so small turns into such a complicated process – especially when other brands manage to offer spare parts much more easily and globally.

I don’t think it’s asking too much that a standard wear part like this is available through more accessible channels. That would make things easier for everyone – customers and support alike.
