Hi, Everyone. I recently received “a new” K1C which doesn’t have a touch screen. I am total noob in 3d printing. If I order new original touch screen for the model (Creality Store doesn’t have one, so I’ll need to rely on 3rd parties) am I good to go just by connecting new screen to the data cable? Is there any flashing needed etc.? Didn’t find any info on internet about screen replacement. Thanks in advance!

Other than 3rd party reliability you should be able to plug the screen into the cable and be good to go. No firmware adjustment. Just be sure all power is off when you do so…
Check the return policy where you get the screen from as we’ve seen DOA screens or blue screen problems.
You might want to order a new data cable if one doesn’t come with the screen just to be safe as there were problems with the cable connectors also sometimes.

So it is missing the touch screen? Either contact Creality or send it back for a replacement.
I didn’t think of that… Hmmm. I was under the impression he bought a “New” one knowing it didn’t have the screen…
This is not a warranty case =) I’m just utilizing new device from an insurance case. All the accessories coming with it were thrown away.
To use an English colloquialism “oh bugger”, I would still try it with Creality to see if you can get the missing bits.
I hope you got a good deal on it, one wonders what else is missing!
