Tree supports Creality Print 7 not strong enough with the filament i am using at the moment

So i printed this character that requires tree supports with the Creality PETG and it worked fine. I finally got the color that i needed to print this and the supports are breaking. Ok so its a different material must not have as good layer adhesion. I have been trying and trying to create stronger tree supports. Can we not set a fill density for tree supports? I found lots of posts of people complaining that they were too strong. I can not seem to make them strong enough. If i choose Strong Tree then it makes these massive tree structures.. might work i guess but why not thinner ones with a fill pattern. I have tried lots of settings like Base Pattern spacing, Support Wall Loops, Tree support diameter. All with limited success. There is an initial density parameter but not a normal Density parameter. Is it time to leave Creality Print?

When using PETG to support PLA prints you need to set the Z axis to 0.0, the support won’t work otherwise

Been experimenting with supports myself, and for TPU85A the normal supports are useless, as everything is too soft. So i go either with ‘support enforcer’ to place the supports where i want, or i go with cylinders and use them as a support combined with the default tree support…..so the support gets placed on top of a cylinder.
If the support is unstable with solid filament, you definitely need to adjust cooling, nozzle temperature or speed, as that degrades the adhesion.

Myself new to 3D printing, i discovered that i can’t print with ABS without a chamber and like 45°C in the chamber, else there is low layer adhesion and i can easily break everything i print, even if it’s 100% solid.
The chamber + heating solved not only adhesion, but almost eliminated warping too.

What kind of filament is it?
