My Ender 5S1 works fine with factory firmware, When I tried to install the sonic pad I keep getting random “touch failed to deploy” error.
First time was during the Z offset.
Got past that and did the manual bed level.
Heated the bed and started the auto calibration
first time it got to 12/16 before it failed,
But every other attempt it would fail on the 3nd calibration square.
Tried reseating the BLtouch cable, but same results.
I went back to the factory firmware and all works normally.
Not sure what I’m missing?
