Trouble Printing Thin Model

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to print a model that is very thin, and I keep having issues with print quality and missing details. The problem is that I can’t modify the model in a CAD application, because the dimensions must stay exactly as they are.

I suspect the issue is related to slicer settings, but I’m not sure what to adjust in order to get a clean, complete print. I’ve tried tweaking some basic parameters, but I’m still not getting good results.

Has anyone dealt with similar thin models before? What settings should I focus on—wall thickness, flow rate, line width, or something else?

At the end of this post, I’ll attach the file format that contains both the model and my current print settings, and also the model file separately in case anyone wants to take a closer look.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hiya! Welcome aboard!
I took a look at the model and 1st off, I hope you are trying to print it upside down, would work much better. the hanging, unsupported arms will always be an issue.
That said, what exactly is happening with the print?
If you could post a pic, it’d be super helpful.
Then we could take a look at the settings you are using, and which printer, as well.
The devil’s in the details…
