About a week ago I updated to the latest FW (1.1.2.6) on both K2+ printers and everything seemed fine, until today.
I was loading in a new spool into the CFS and when I went to set its properties, it no longer allows me to change the temp or pressure advance settings on the printer. I can change the brand, type and color of filament, but I get no response when trying to change the temp or pressure advance. This is on both machines.
When the prints are done I will try a (on printer) factory reset and reflash the FW to see if it will help, but if there are other options to fix this I am all ears.
So, I tried power cycling the machine, doing a factory reset through the screen, and even tried re-flashing the latest firmware…all with the same results. It seems that with the latest firmware, they locked out the ability to change temps/PA on the filaments on the machine itself unless I am doing something wrong.
I’m not sure if those PA and temp values are even used. The temps might be used by the printer when you tell the CFS to extrude/retract when you’re not printing, but in every other situation, the temp and PA are set by the filament settings in the slicer.
