Unable to remove PETG tubing from the SparkX manifold

I am unable to remove the tubing from

the manifold. I tried printed tools to

depress the black ring and a lot of brute

force. The manifold just holds onto

the tubing. I purchased some tubing

connectors from Amazon to splice

tubing onto the retained tubing piece.

I am absolutely unable to remove the

PETG tubing from the SparkX manifold. I

tried a tool to depress the black ring. I

tried a lot of force . Nothing worked. This

needs to be fixed. I did purchase some

PETG tubing couplers from Amazon.

This works well to split another piece

of tubing onto the retained tubing.

If you didn’t release the tubing from the coupler the right way (push tubing in, press ring down and hold it down, pull tubing out)… If you have used brute force, you now have damaged the inside of the coupler and probably bent one or more “teeth” that hold on to the tubing.

The only solution is to use more brute force to get the tubing out… afterwards you have to replace the tubing and the coupler…

Having the same issue with mine - The printer arrived yesterday. I didn’t use brute force, but 3 of the 4 pipes can come out, but the one just refuses.

Considering messaging the seller for a replacement - this is ridiculous!

You can print tools like this or Harbor Freight.com. push down on the collar and pull the tube

Thanks, already have the tools - but it seems to be a fault on the 4-to-1 module. The other pipes come out, its just the one that refuses. Supplier is going to send a spare part to replace it next month
