I have new Ender 3 v3. It works fine printing the supplied files.
My problem is in using Print 5.1,
I have no problem with using the program features and functions.
I load a STL file, This seem to work OK, and I save a gcode file (assume using “slice plate” to create the gcode file) Then, export the file to flash drive (using the print plate sub menu), then try to print. The printer’s screen recognizes the supplied gcode files but not the file I created. It is on the flash drive but does not open.
Any suggestions, I’m sure I am missing something simple.
I previously had a Ender 3, and used Cura quite successfuly.
Can you show us the exact name of the gcode file that you export.
Sometimes the format of the name confuses the system such as an extra comma or space.
Also just curious…can you use the network to export the file directly to the Ender-3 V3…?
Hi Jim,
I read your reply, thought It was not clear to me so I went to YouTube and found a thread on YouTube titled “Complete walkthrough, to download, install, and setup, CREALITY PRINT 5.0”.
This worked as followed step be step and succeeded in a successful print over my network. Seems rather complex, but with practice I’m sure it will become easier.
Thanks for steering me the right direction.

I had continued set-up difficulty and saw someone mention problems in proper operation due to screen/video grabber software utilities.
Dumped my screen grabber, reloaded Creality Print 5.1, rebooted and . (used with my
Ender -3v3).
All is working again.
