I’m attempting to enter the password for my WiFi network on the keypad but I can’t find the underscore symbol. Any idea where it might be?
Hello @fubarinc …!
Welcome to the Creality Forum…!
It should be on the far left side on the bottom. Just to the left of the minus sign.
Hello jimandyen,
Thank you for the quick response to my query. On my keypad, the minus sign is the furthest symbol on the lower left-hand side of the alphabet keypad screen. It does not appear on the numeric/character keypad screen either. I wouldn’t like to have to change my WiFi P/W if at all possible, as I have many components in my LAN!
I was thinking the Ender-3 V3 and K series all had the same keyboard layout…
I found it hidden. You have to press the “abc” or “ABC” key on the left side. It will switch symbols with the minus sign… Kind of weird…
Thanks for pointing out where the underscore character was on the K1C keypad. Now when I enter my WiFi P/W correctly I keep getting a “password error” message. I have keyed in the correct P/W several times without success. I had my wife key in the P/W with no success either. I have triple-checked the P/W but for some reason I cant get it to work. The correct SSID shows on the available network list. I recently changed routers and all other networked components have been successfully connected. Is there an onboard cache i need to delete? I’d like to 3D-print new glasses to see if I have been hitting the wrong letter
Update: I turned off the printer, unplugged it for 10 seconds, plugged it back in, then turned it back on. I re-entered the P/W and it connected! I guess I won’t have to print out new glasses after all.
