Hi folks. I’m changing my nozzle from 0.4 to 0.6. While looking for 0.6 nozzles I came across the unicorn “quick change” nozzle and wondered whether it’s worth converting. I’ve had no trouble with the standard set up except a blockage that just happened for the first time after 200 or so prints. So can anyone answer these questions please:
- Is the conversion worth it?
- What makes it quicker to change? Is it just the longer thread means no dismantling to grip the hot end while unscrewing the nozzle?
- The ads made it seem that the nozzles just fitted but I’ve also seen a conversion kit. Which is right?
Thanks folks. Any help appreciated.
