I looked and looked and didn’t find the answer here but I’m sure it has been asked before. I upgraded my 3S1 to the pro extruder and now the curvature on left side of my prints is off and lines are overlapping. When searching I saw various references to adjustments provided in a manual though my extruder, directly from Creality, came with none. In the attached image the right side of the print is great but the left is jacked. I’m using the professional firmware 2.1.3. What step am I missing here with the upgrade?
In the meantime I rotated my print so the extruder doesn’t travel as far to the left but now I’ve got a flippin blowout. It’s an entirely new assembly!
The first photo looks like a localized adhesion issue, this could be bed leveling but, more likely it is a dirty/oily spot on the bed. The second photo appears to be the result of a loose incorrectly assembled Hotend. Did you check that it was assembled correctly. Remember this was assembled by a human and humans make errors. I have experienced this type of issue before. Now I always disassemble and verify. I hope you can/have recovered from this.
Those screws definitely backed out or where not properly tightened down in the first place.
I had cleaned the plate several times with alcohol and leveled several times so I’m not sure what the problem is/was. I’m hoping it will be magically gone the next time I print. I should probably try another plate to rule out something with the specific one.
