Using Creality Hi top mount spool/filament in tandem with CFS ("5 spools at once")? Hardware setup...

Hello,

I have Creality Hi combo with CFS installed. I’d like to use a 5th spool in the config from the top mount spool holder.
How is the filament tube from the top mount spool configured? Just add it to one of the 3 remaining open holes on the filament buffer (like how the CFS connects)?
When I make a print can I then choose from 5 different filaments?

No - you cannot use the spoolholder in tandem with the CFS as the spool holder cannot push/pull the filament since it doesn’t have the motors the CFS does. If you want 5 colors, get a 2nd CFS.

Or put manually a pause on the Gcode to change a spooler at mid printing, is tricky but you can do it.
