The printer just strings out filament and gets gummed up on the nozzle , any special settings needed for flexible filament?
Use slow speeds and low temps, my settings for TPU-95 are:
Filament
Volumetric speed limitation
Max volumetric speed
Maximum volumetric speed: For CR-TPU/Generic TPU, the maximum volumetric speed should not exceed 2mm³/s; for HP-TPU, the maximum volumetric speed should not exceed 3mm³/s
Objects
Strength -> Infill
Sparse infill density: 6%
Sparse infill pattern: Gyroid
Speed -> First layer speed
First Layer: 45 mm/s
First Layer infill: 45 mm/s
Speed -> Other layers speed
Outer wall: 60 mm/s
Inner wall: 60 mm/s
Sparse infill: 60 mm/s
Internal Solid infill: 60 mm/s
Top surface: 60 mm/s
Gap infill: 60 mm/s
the problem is getting the TPU to actually feed into the nozzle….
You must feed directly to the nozzle with the shorttest TPFE tube possible (some people even do not use tube at all. and a very free rotating spool.
