Using KAMP with Orca Slicer

If you can tell me how to get KAMP to work on Orcaslicer, I would appreciate it. I’d prefer Orcaslicer over CP due to the nightly builds they release with special features…but my bed likes to warp a bit too much to give a consistent first layer

Hiya! Welcome to the Forum!
Which printer are you using?

The easiest way is to root the machine, if that option is available.
I had thought Orca has the KAMP features built in to it. It’s been a long time since I’ve run a vanilla unit.
There should be a few entries to check in the printer.cfg file.

I can write a book on warping issues! See some of my other posts, I’m no stranger to intrusive countermeasures. I’ve tried everything from foil tape to a 28oz Hammer. Can’t tell you how much filament I’ve used running off 1st layer tests

Print a full bed area 1st layer. See where the issues are.
Heat the Bed to 100C, Keep it there for at least 45 Min, I did it for 3 hrs.
**When you reduce the heat, do so 10C at a time over 10 minutes, So 1C per minute cooldown path.
You can bring it right down to room temp once you’ve gone below 40C.
When you let it heat back up to print temp, let it sit there for at least 10 min before you print.
See what your 1st layer looks like now.
Optional: One thing that helped…putting dial up - spring tension wheels on.

Hope it Helps!

I noticed that I forgot to mention that you can look at your bed levelling data if you’re on a network.
