I purchased my Ender 3 V2 after a failed attempt at building a custom 3D Printer. To be honest that was the best $200 I spent on 3D Printing, I love the Ender 3 V2 and it has really help me learn about 3D Printing. I recently upgraded my Ender 3 V2 with a V4.2.7 control board, CR Touch, dual z axis and a touch screen.
OK so now I want to go back to the failed custom 3D printer and get it working because is has a larger print area. I have the V4.2.2 control board and the original screen that I want to use because I’ll be using firmware I am familiar with. My question is in regards to the Z-Axis. In the Ender 3 V2 the bed stays in place and the print end move up as the 3D Printing proceeds. On the custom 3D Printer the print head stays at the top and the bed moves down as the 3d Printing proceeds. Is there a setting in firmware that controls the direction of the Z-Axis? I am thinking the X and Y axis is not going to be a problem.
