Im running a ke and orcaslicer. first time trying nylon and while PLA and Pet-g go good whit orca slicer. The nylon wont stay on the original bed that has some grid profile on it. On a flat carbon look print i tryed but zero sticking. Also tryed 3Dlac adhesive…
Is it the print setting or the bed? PLA and Petg go good on stock orcaslicer setting.
Hope you guys can help.
Nylon on an open printer, really won’t work. Needs an enclosure and should print with a brim. Nylon is very hygroscopic so needs proper drying.
Thit 6 ours drying in a oven 70 degrees and got a Enclosure (ikea version).
it are simpel prints, just 20x 5cm flat 5mm. That has enough sticking surface i think.

PEI should be fine. Part Cooling Fan Not Required, its like printing ABS/ASA it likes to be nice and warm to prevent warping and no breezes.
So fan to 0% is good to try?
Yes just like you would with ABS, with it on it will warp. Here are the settings from my Qidi printer:-
Got a other Problem.
Orcaslicer. E-pa (nylon) is no generic version in filament list.
So i click filament, Add filament, custom filament, create new, set it up and its in my Filament list.
I could change settings and save… All fine till now.
Restart Orcaslicer, E-pa filament is gone… from my list?
Yes i can find it if i do the add filament again and then its standing under custom filament. But why it not stays i the first filament choice list?
If i do the same whit ASA and make a own version its present. Is this a Epa-CF bugg?
