I have a structural test piece 3mf file that I use on X1C and on the K2 Plus.
The settings are identical and when printed on either they are approximately 25 minutes printing time when using 5.1 or Bambu studio.
In V6.0 if I use the system preset (right hand side of prepare) 0.24 standard @creality k2 Plus 0.4 nozzle the time is similar.
If I change any parameter and save as a user preset two things happen
1: Print time increases - even with same settings as system preset (eg from 25mins to 38mins)
2: When printing the remaining time gets to zero and then changes to a further remaining 12 minutes and continues printing.
If I change back to standard system preset then sliced print time goes back to original.
I am now writing every print time down for sliced and actual in order to compare.
Yes, I posted a similar comment elsewhere on the forum. Basically, for me, V6 added 20% time over V5.1 using presets for a E3V3 (CoreXZ) .4 nozzle, .2 layer height. When I imported my custom settings, I got the time back.
I’m going to post as a separate topic, but why does Creality send out preset profiles for Klipper machines with Arc Fitting selected when even they say it should be disabled. Forces me to make custom profile copies for all profiles just so I don’t have to remember to deselect Arc Fitting. Arrrg!
Yeah, One thing to keep in mind: Klipper converts the arcs to line segments and executes the resulting gcode. You’re taking line segments, converting them to arcs, then converting them back to line segments. Klipper arc support is only really useful for slicers that generate arcs natively and don’t give you the ability to control arc resolution
