Is it true that you cannot slice a model into (2) parts and assign a different wall count to each part and print the entire model at once?
Hello ! Can you share a picture of what you mean ? Because you can really do everything on the slicer ![]()
In the attached image you can see the (2) split parts. The gray portion needs to have 10 walls, and the blue portion needs to have 5 walls. How can I apply the distinct wall count settings to each part, put them back together, and print the entire object? I could not find a way to do it even though some online discussions lead me to believe it was possible in Creality Print, but others did not. I’ve also seen that it can be done in CURA but I’d like to proceed with Creality Print if possible. I currently have V4.3.8.6984 Release.
You have an ender 3V3, correct ?
I would recommend you to update the version of your slicer (depending of your printer, it should have a default profile)..We’re currently in the Creality Print 7 version and it can easily do what you’re trying to get. (I’m sure of it because I do it every week)
On older versions like the V4, I doubt that was made possible.
Hello !
Did you succeed ?
