What does the red dot mean?

I assumed a message, or a firmware/software update, but there’s nothing. Any ideas?

Did you find the cause? One of my units has a red dot that showed up today. Can confirm no snipers are nearby.

I think it is actually for those that live their life indoors all day with the curtains drawn.
Dracula maybe ?
It is to indicate that it is daytime outside and the sun is shining.

My red dot went away. I think it may have been an unread warning that the litter tray was full.
