- I am a NOOB
- I am OLD (76)
- Someone gave me an older Ender 3 Pro
- I upgraded the board to 4.2.7
- I installed a BL Touch
- This is were I finally got stuck.
with the upgrades I started looking for a firmware upgrade. Creality just said “they no longer support my model”. Wouldn’t provide advice as to we’re to go. While I used to be computer savvy, age has taken over . I just want to download the right firmware. I think I can get it on an SD card.
I”m even willing to purchase a presaged card (if that is even possible.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike. Your not that old, I man 78 and had to learn how to configure Marlin to update my old ender 3 printers which I greatly modified . There are still many good you tube vids out there on how to configure and generate a .bin file for Ender printers.
If you can nor find or are not willing to learn Marlin I may be able to configure a .bin file for you. I would require detail of you printer to do this.
- The processor on the control board.
- The size of the bed i.e. - 220 x 220
- BLTouch connection - did you use the Z limit switch plug or not for the Black and white wires.
- Display type - standare Ender 3 or the newer touch screen type.
- standard extruder.
