Here we are now into September, the First preorders are due to ship the end of this month, and they still have not sent out demo unit to start getting reviews and build the hype of the up coming release. Come on Creality , You had a lot of excitement about this machine and then it has been virtually nothing. We are all dieing to here more about this machine and see its capabilities. We would all love to be able to preorder spare parts and the like. We can’t wait to hear more Please!!!

The annoying thing is, most people have paid something like £1,200 some months ago on the understanding of delivery (along with a few goodies) in September.
Big risk for an untested piece of kit. Especially as the K1 has some serious issues, many remain unresolved.
Assuming the initial sale was for 2000 units, that is £2,400,000 being sat on by Creality. I wonder what the interest on that is for an extra month! As for the 50,40,30,20% discounts for early orders… The K2 Plus bundle is still on offer for £1,150 or less if ordered now direct from Creality!
I doubt very much this money is being “sat on” as you put it. No company sits on money from prepaid orders. It is being used for production costs such as wages, parts, transportation, etc.
I agree Creality has some issues but they are aggressively dealing with them and have come a long way in 10 years.
By the look of the video they posted it looks like they just needed card board boxes.
Someone stated in another forum that they probably had an issue with a part, Had to have it redesigned and then manufactured and are waiting for it to arrive so they can finish them up. That would make a lot of sense. They may also be experiencing extended shipping because of Iran. It would have been nice if Creality would be more transparent with all of us but… I would much rather receive a machine that works right out of the box rather then the Neptune 4 pro I have that I have to mess with every single time I want to print something. Cross our fingers that Creality “Does right by use for standing by them!!”
