Looks like this function was removed or moved somewhere I can’t find anymore.
It’s called Auto mapping in 6.0. You need to first go to “Devices” and make sure it knows about your printer.
Thanks, that was helpful. The new method is very clumsy, you have to make sure all the stars are aligned and slice it first then go to filaments and then you get the window for auto-mapping.
So, a degree in astrology is need here then ?
Having an issue with the CP 6 slicing to an external spool (PETG) with both the CFS connected and not connected. The software thinks that it is PLA and there is no apparent way to change to PETG (by clicking on ext or auto mapping) nor when sending to the printer. Had to go to the last CP 5 that I had installed to attempt the print using the external spool.
I have 2 machines attached to Creality Print 6 on Mac. (K2 & Hi) When I choose the new Hi as the device it can’t sync(auto map) to the CFS attached to it. It only shows me the CFS attached to the K2. Once I send a slice to the printer it shows my the CFS colors for the Hi, but it is very annoying that I can’t assign the proper colors in the Prepare tab. I have restarted the app. Is this a bug on the Mac.
