What is the probability of the SparkX i7 supporting more than 4 colors in the future?

What is the probability of the SparkX i7 supporting more than 4 colors in the future? Will there be an official multi-CFS hub or daisy-chaining support for this model to achieve 8 or 16 colors?

With this kind of construction it is unlikely, it is built as a beginner printer. Maybe some 3rd party hacks change it but Creality has the CFS and CFS-C for more colors, the way the CFS Lite is designed it looks like it’s made for 4 colors only.

None. go for Creality Hi or another printer.

the CFS-lite is no compatible with multiple CFS nor the firmware.

I don’t think that is possible with the CFS Lite. It is designed max at 4 color. But I agreed with you. It would be awesome can add more CFS Lite to the i7.

There was a mention in the FAQ section for it that said they may enable use of the standard CFS system via a firmware update in the future. Since it uses the same 845 plug to connect, I am sure you would have to add an additional buffer or perhaps just use 1 of the 4 ports on the print head with the standard buffer. I don’t know if this is still being consider though.

If they are doing that route that will be great. Fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:t3::crossed_fingers:t3::crossed_fingers:t3:.

I guess if there is enough request from the 3d communities. Creality can make that happen.
